These are the five Missouri books I’d place NFL picks at, ranked for football rather than for the sportsbook overall. FanDuel and BetMGM are the two I open first, for different reasons.
- FanDuel. The deepest NFL player prop menu of the Missouri apps, and the quickest same-game parlay builder.
- BetMGM. The steadiest pricing on NFL sides, with alternate spreads that run further from the main number.
- Caesars. The busiest NFL odds boost calendar in the state, plus Caesars Rewards credits on every wager.
- Fanatics. The plainest app of the five, with same-game parlay prices close to the sharpest books.
- theScore Bet. Bet tracking built into theScore media app, so the game and your ticket share one screen.
No offshore book appears anywhere on this page.
Which Missouri Sportsbooks Should You Use for These Picks?
I tested all eight Missouri Gaming Commission licensed sportsbooks that take NFL bets, then cut the list to the five I’d actually place a pick at. A book can be great for basketball and still leave you worse off on a Sunday NFL price, so this ranking is about football only.
Each review names one real strength, one honest caveat and one thing that happened when I used the app. If a pick in the carousel hinges on a specific market, this is where you’ll find which book carries it.
Why Is FanDuel the Top Missouri Book for NFL Props?
21+ in OH. $5 min deposit req. Bonus Bets non-withdrawable, expire 7 days after receipt. T&Cs apply. Gambling Problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Best for prop-heavy picks. When a bet hinges on a receiving yards line or a same-game parlay leg, FanDuel is usually the Missouri app that carries it. Its builder reprices when a leg voids or pushes, which is why most parlay betting on this page starts here.

- NFL markets in the Missouri app: spreads, totals, player props, same-game parlays and live betting.
- What I found in testing. I deposited by debit card and the funds cleared in under a minute. I then built the same three-leg NFL same-game parlay at all five books, and FanDuel paid about 8 cents more than the next best Missouri app.
- Worth knowing. Flutter Entertainment owns FanDuel. Licensed by the Missouri Gaming Commission.
New Missouri customers can qualify for a bonus bet welcome offer, general terms apply. Read the full FanDuel Missouri offer terms.

Why Is BetMGM the Best Missouri Book for NFL Spreads?
21+ in OH. $10 min bet req. Bonus Bets non-withdrawable, expire 7 days after receipt. T&Cs apply. Gambling Problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Best for backing a side. When I’m betting a spread rather than building a parlay, BetMGM is the first Missouri tab I open. It posts alternate spreads and totals further from the main number than the rest, which helps when you want to buy through a key number.

- NFL markets in the Missouri app: spreads, totals, player props, same-game parlays and live betting.
- What I found in testing. I priced the same six primetime NFL sides at all five books over three weeks, and BetMGM matched or beat the best Missouri number 14 times out of 18. My withdrawal to a debit card took 41 hours, against 19 at the fastest book here.
- Worth knowing. BetMGM is a joint venture of MGM Resorts International and Entain. Licensed by the Missouri Gaming Commission.

Why Is Caesars the Best Missouri Book for NFL Odds Boosts?
21+ in OH. $1 min bet req. Profit Boosts expire 14 days after receipt. T&Cs apply. Gambling Problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Best for boosted prices. Caesars runs the busiest NFL odds boost calendar of the five. Every wager also earns Caesars Rewards credits, which you can use across Caesars properties, including its two Missouri casinos.

- NFL markets in the Missouri app: spreads, totals, player props, same-game parlays and live betting.
- What I found in testing. Identity verification asked for a driver’s license photo and the last four digits of my Social Security number, and my account cleared in under two hours. The boost tab carried more NFL offers than any rival, but I still found a better standard spread elsewhere twice in one week.
- Worth knowing. Caesars Entertainment owns the book and also runs Harrah’s Kansas City and Horseshoe St. Louis. Licensed by the Missouri Gaming Commission.

Why Is Fanatics the Best Missouri Book for NFL Parlay Prices?
Must be 21+ to participate. T&Cs Apply. Gambling problem? Call or Text 1-800-GAMBLER
Best for the price, not the menu. FanDuel usually lists more NFL markets, but when the same parlay exists at both, Fanatics tends to pay more for it. The app also stayed quick right up to kickoff, when two rivals slowed down.
| Pros | Cons |

|

- NFL markets in the Missouri app: spreads, totals, player props, same-game parlays and live betting.
- What I found in testing. I used live chat to ask why a same-game parlay leg had voided. The first reply came in 4 minutes, but it took three transfers and about 40 minutes to get a real answer. The parlay itself priced better here than at three of the four rivals.

Why Is theScore Bet the Best Missouri Book for Following Games Live?
Best for watching a pick play out. theScore Bet links to theScore media app, so the score, the drive chart and your open bets sit on one screen instead of three. It’s the app I keep open on Sundays.

- NFL markets in the Missouri app: spreads, totals, player props, same-game parlays and live betting.
- What I found in testing. I placed an in-play bet on a second-half spread and the odds refreshed in about 6 seconds, mid-pack for the five. What it did better was context. The live bet slip sat beside the drive chart, so I never switched apps to check field position.
- Worth knowing. PENN Entertainment owns theScore Bet and also runs Hollywood Casino St. Louis, River City Casino and Argosy Casino Riverside. Licensed by the Missouri Gaming Commission.

What Are Our NFL Picks for Every Game This Week?
Every game on the 2026 NFL schedule gets its own card in the predictions carousel at the top of this page. That’s where this week’s NFL picks live, and new cards appear as each week’s games approach, so you don’t need to hunt for a separate page. The Chiefs get a card every week, just like every other team.
Each card gives you the same information, in the same order.
| Card detail | What it shows | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
|
Date and time |
When the game kicks off |
Plan when to place your bet |
|
Days left badge |
How long until kickoff |
Use the time to compare prices |
|
The two teams |
Who’s playing |
Check injury news for both |
|
Our prediction |
The team we expect to win |
Decide on moneyline or spread |
Our prediction is a straight-up call. We’re picking the winner, not the margin, so each card is a moneyline pick at heart. Before you place it, check the moneyline at two or three of the books above, because the same team can pay noticeably more at one of them.
A winner call isn’t automatically a good bet. If our pick is a heavy favorite, the moneyline may pay too little to be worth it, and the spread, or simply passing, can be the smarter move. The cards also don’t cover totals. If you’d rather bet the over or under, our totals betting guide explains how it works.
What Does an NFL Pick Straight Up Mean?
An NFL pick straight up is a call on who wins the game, with no point spread involved. It’s the format pool and survivor players need, because only the winner counts there. Here’s how it compares with the other two main bets.
| Bet type | What has to happen | When it suits you |
|---|---|---|
|
Straight up (moneyline) |
Your team wins the game |
Close games, underdogs and pools |
|
Against the spread |
Your team covers the point spread |
Favorites whose moneyline pays too little |
|
Total (over under) |
Combined points beat or miss the line |
When you have a view on scoring, not the winner |
A three-point favorite winning and a three-point favorite covering are different questions. Mixing them up is how survivor entries fall apart by October.
How Should You Use NFL Picks Against the Spread?
Our cards pick winners, but many Missouri bettors prefer the spread, especially when the team we like is a big favorite. Use each card as a starting point. If we have a team winning and the spread is small, the prediction and the spread point the same way. If the spread is large, winning isn’t enough, and that’s a separate call to make before you bet.
If the spread is new to you, read our guide to point spread betting explained first. It covers how the number works and why it moves.
When Are NFL Expert Picks Against the Spread Worth Following?
They’re worth following when they come with a price and a reason. The real test of any NFL picks against the spread is whether the number you took beat the number the game closed at. If you regularly get a better number than the close, you’re betting well, even through losing weeks.
Key numbers matter more than any single pick. NFL games land on certain margins far more often than others.
| Final margin | Roughly how often | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
|
Exactly 3 points |
About 15% of games |
Half a point either side of 3 can flip a bet |
|
Exactly 7 points |
About 9% of games |
The second most common winning margin |
Missouri makes line shopping easier than most states. Eight books launched at once and are still competing for the same customers, so the same spread is often half a point better at one of them.
How Do You Find NFL Best Bets and Prop Picks?
Not every game on the carousel is equally strong. NFL best bets are picks where the price is good, not just the team. An underdog that wins four times in ten at plus money can be a better bet than a favorite that wins eight in ten at a poor price. That’s expected value, and it’s what separates a bet from a guess.
Before you treat any card as a best bet, ask yourself these questions.
- Does the payout make sense for how often you think the team wins?
- Have you compared the price at three or more Missouri books?
- Could you write down why you like it in one sentence?
If the answer to any of them is no, it’s a pass. Nothing on this page is a certainty, and any site telling you otherwise is selling something.
Where Can You Find the Best NFL Prop Bets Today?
Props are where Missouri’s books differ most. FanDuel usually has the widest player prop menu, while Fanatics often pays more for an identical same-game parlay. Our cards don’t include prop picks, so treat props as your own call, keep the stakes small, and remember that books usually build a bigger margin into props than into sides.
One state difference is worth knowing. Missouri allows college player props, after the Missouri Gaming Commission turned down an NCAA request to ban them, so prop menus here are wider than in some other states.
Are Free NFL Picks Worth Following?
Yes, if you can see where they come from. No, if you can’t.
Free picks have a poor reputation, and most of it is earned. Many touts give picks away to sell paid ones, so the free picks exist to show off a hot streak rather than to help you. Records get quietly reset, and losing weeks disappear. When you judge any free picks source, including this one, look for a long record that includes the bad months.
Here’s the honest part. No picks service wins every week, and this one won’t either. Even a strong season against the spread lands in the mid-fifties as a percentage, so losing weeks are normal, not a sign that something broke.
Using free NFL picks without hurting yourself comes down to four habits.
- Set a unit size you could lose forty times without it changing your month.
- Keep every bet to one unit unless you have a clear reason.
- Never chase a losing week by doubling your stakes.
- Shop the price across the five books above, because small gains add up over a season.
How Do We Make Our NFL Picks?
For the 2026 season, every prediction card comes out of the same three layers.
- Efficiency. Points per drive, success rate by down, pressure rate and yards allowed per coverage snap, all adjusted for the opponent.
- Situation. Rest days, travel, divisional familiarity, weather when it really matters, and the official NFL injury report as it reads late in the week rather than on Wednesday.
NFL Combine testing and the 40-yard dash supply the raw measurements. Position testing norms show whether a 40 time is fast or ordinary for that position, because a cornerback and a tight end running the same time aren’t the same finding. The SPARQ athleticism rating lets us compare overall athleticism as rosters turn over.
None of this predicts a game on its own. What it does is flag speed and athleticism gaps that show up in matchups before they show up in results. That’s betting insight, not tipping.
How Do NFL Computer Picks and Expert Picks Work Together?
A model gives you consistency and no ego. A person gives you context a spreadsheet misses, like a coordinator change or a line that moved for a reason nobody has reported yet. NFL computer picks that ignore context are brittle, and expert picks that ignore the data are guesses. Every card starts with the model and ends with a human review.
What Are Our NFL Playoff Predictions for 2026?
Our NFL playoff predictions arrive the same way as the regular season picks. Once the postseason field is set, each playoff game gets its own card in the carousel at the top of this page, from wild card weekend through the Super Bowl.
Until then, it pays to know how the regular season shapes January. Seeding decides who hosts, and home field in the divisional round is often underrated in preseason talk. That’s why the late-season schedule counts for more than the first few weeks when you’re thinking about who goes deep.
Season-long bets like division winners and conference titles are futures. They tie up your money for months while injuries and trades move the price, so they deserve smaller stakes and more patience than a weekly pick.
What Goes Into Our NFL Super Bowl Predictions?
Our NFL Super Bowl predictions come from the same model as the weekly picks, applied to each playoff matchup in turn. The Super Bowl itself gets a card once both teams are known.
If you bet the Super Bowl winner before then, remember that a favorite at a short price can still be a poor bet. Backing a team to win its division or conference can pay more for the same view, so compare those markets before you commit.
What Should Missouri Bettors Know Before Betting NFL Picks?
This is Missouri’s first full NFL season with legal online betting. Voters approved Amendment 2 in November 2024 by fewer than 3,000 votes, and the Missouri Gaming Commission, the state’s regulator, launched online betting on 1 December 2025, partway through last season. That makes this the first year that starts with the books already live.
Eight online sportsbooks hold licenses, and you need to be 21 or older to use them. You can bet from anywhere inside Missouri, but geolocation checks your position every time you place a bet. A wager from the Kansas side of the state line will fail whatever your billing address says, and the same goes for the Illinois side of the Mississippi. That matters most in Kansas City and St. Louis, where plenty of people live in one state and work in the other.
New to betting here? Start with our guide to Missouri sports betting for the overview, then read about NFL betting in Missouri for market detail. Our Missouri gambling regulations page covers what the law allows, and our review of Missouri betting apps compares all eight on features and usability.
How Should You Use This Page This Season?
Start with the carousel, because that’s where the 2026 NFL picks live. Everything else on this page explains how those calls are made and how to bet them well.
- Shop the price, because eight Missouri books competing for customers means a better number is usually available somewhere.
- Decide between the moneyline and the spread for each card, instead of backing the winner by default.
- Judge any picks source on a full season, not a single week.
If this is your first legal bet, set a deposit limit before you place it. That one decision will do more for your season than any pick on this page.
Where Can You Get Responsible Gambling Help in Missouri?
Most people who follow NFL picks do it without any trouble. Some don’t, and in a market this young, many Missourians are placing their first legal bets this season. That’s exactly when habits form.

What Do Missouri Bettors Ask About NFL Picks in 2026?
What are the best NFL picks this week?
They’re in the predictions carousel at the top of this page. Each card shows the game, the kickoff time and the team we expect to win, with a link to bet at a licensed Missouri book.
How accurate are expert NFL picks against the spread?
A strong season against the spread lands in the mid-fifties as a percentage. Anything above about 52.4% beats standard juice over time. Treat claims of 65% or better as marketing, not a record.
What is the difference between NFL picks and NFL predictions?
The terms overlap. Strictly, a prediction forecasts an outcome, while a pick is a recommendation to bet on it. Our cards give you both, the predicted winner and a link to back it.
Do computer picks beat expert picks?
Neither wins on its own. Models are consistent, and people catch context the data misses, like a coordinator change. Our picks start with the model and finish with a human review.
Which sportsbooks can I use to bet NFL picks in Missouri?
Eight books hold Missouri Gaming Commission licenses. We review FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, Fanatics and theScore Bet, and DraftKings, bet365 and Circa are also licensed. BetRivers isn’t licensed in Missouri.
How often are these NFL picks updated?
Every game gets a card as its week approaches, and the countdown shows how long is left before kickoff. Playoff games, including the Super Bowl, get cards once the matchups are set.
Can I bet on NFL games from anywhere in Missouri?
Yes, anywhere inside the state line, as long as you’re 21 or over. Geolocation confirms your position every time you bet, and a wager from the Kansas side will be declined whatever your address says.
